Fort Worth, TX (January 25, 2009) – “Our top producers in November and December in our Fort Worth offices have good reason to be optimistic about the coming year, despite the challenging economic climate,” said Sue Meyer, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage – Dallas/Fort Worth. “They know that by providing remarkable service to their customers, they can capitalize on the fact that our area is doing well compared to the rest of the nation — in large part because of the overall economic and employment climate, the comparably lower cost of living, and the continuing influx of people drawn to our local job market.”
Those top producers met recently for a planning session and include: from the Westside office – Cam Beight, tops in listings and sales, December; Pete Harrell, listings, November; Darcy Thompson, mortgages, December; and Sheila Palagi, mortgages, November; Susan Brown topped sales in November. From the Tanglewood office – Gary and Junanne Cooper, who tied with Ann Corley for sales in November; Graham Stiles, listings, November; Gaye Reed, listings, December; and Wayne Hardy, mortgages, December. In December, Junanne and Gary Cooper had the most mortgages, and Ann Corley had the most sales.
Mrs. Myer said that while the residential market might present challenges to some sellers, the same situation has created a dynamic buyers’ market for first-time homebuyers, move-up buyers, and investors. To maximize opportunities for buying and selling homes, she recommends using tactics such as pre-sale staging and proper pricing and marketing, which play major roles in selling a property at optimum price in the shortest period of time.
